Return Policy

Q. Can I cancel an order?
A. You may cancel an order up to 4 hours after it has been placed. If it has already shipped, you will be responsible for any shipping charges.

Q. What is your return policy?
A.

Persimmon will happily accept back merchandise in unworn and pristine condition within 7 days from the time you receive your order. These items may be returned for exchange, store credit or refund. We will refund the price minus any shipping charges. Any items arriving after 7 days from your receipt, will only be eligible for store credit or exchange at our discretion. Our online return policy does not necessarily reflect our in store return policy.

You must email customerservice@shoppersimmon.com" or call 323.951.9540 to let us know merchandise will be arriving back.

You recommend sending back any merchandise via insured mail for the full amount of the package and getting tracking #. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged packages We do not accept COD packages.

Unfortunately, all sale items, altered items and special orders are FINAL SALES and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Q. Special and Custom Orders
A. Featured jewelry that is out of stock may be ordered and is considered a Special Order. Featured jewelry designs altered for specific client requests are considered Custom Orders.

All Special and Custom Orders must be paid in full before the order is processed.
These are considered Final Sales.

Shipping Information

Q. Do you ship internationally?
A. Yes, but we are not currently set up to process orders online. Please call us at 323.951.9540 or email us at customerservice@shoppersimmon.com. Or you may order online and fax the front and back of your credit card along with a photo ID to 323.951.9548. Our shipping rates start at $35 but vary. You will be responsible for any all duties and taxes.

Q. What are your shipping rates?
A. For Jewelry only:

$10 for UPS Ground $15 for 2nd Day Air $25 for Next Day Air or jewelry purchases over $100, ground UPS shipping is free. For jewelry shipments to Alaska or Hawaii, only 2nd Day Air for $35.

For items other than jewelry, shipping rates will be shown at checkout. Depending on the weight and size of the items, rates vary. For questions regarding this, please give us a call at 323.951.9540 or email us at customerservice@shoppersimmon.com All UPS shipments require an adult signature. There are NO exceptions to this. For all other items, shipping rates vary call 323.951.9540 for a quote. >

Q. How will I know my order has been shipped?
A. When your order is shipped, we will send you a confirmation that will indicate which day you can expect your shipment.  All order are shipped via UPS and require an adult signature.

Q. What if I have a problem?
A. If you have not received your confirmation email from us or believe that there may be problems with your shipment, please email us at customerservice@shoppersimmon.com or call us at (323) 951-9540.  Live customer service is available Tuesday through Friday from 11 am to 6 pm (PST).  If you leave us a message or send us an email, a customer service representative will follow up with you within two business days. 

* Please note that orders cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box, so please provide a valid postal address during checkout.

Delivery

Q. When will my order be delivered?
A. Purchases are usually shipped within 2 days of receipt, based on item availability. Many times, they actually are shipped on the same day. If need your purchase the Next Day, please make sure to call the gallery at 323.951.9540 to ensure that we will be able to make delivery. Because Persimmon specializes in hand-made, limited edition artisan and designer jewelry some pieces may require 4 to 8 weeks for delivery. You will be informed of availability at the time of your purchase.

Sales Tax

Q. Do you charge sales tax?
A. Since we are located within California, sales tax is only charged if the items are shipped within California (currently 8.25%). Otherwise, there is NO sales tax applied to any purchases.

Product Information

Q. Ring Sizing
A.

The sizing of rings is often a tricky process.  Many factors including air travel, spicy foods, alcohol and hot weather can dramatically influence finger size.  Persimmon guarantees that rings will be the size ordered; however, we cannot guarantee the size of your finger.

If you believe that your hand may be swollen, we strongly suggest a ring ordered not be processed until an accurate size is determined, either by a visit to Persimmon or by a reputable jeweler in your home city.

There is a small charge to adjust the size of the ring, please call for a quote.

Q. What should I expect?
A. Since all of our jewelry is made by artists, not a machine, they are unique. Colors of gemstones may vary and inclusions are not flaws. They give your gemstone character & show that it is authentic. As all pieces are handmade, execution may vary.
